Tip To Tail Dog Training and Walking is dedicated to helping people and their four legged family members build happy and strong relationships through positive reinforcement and leadership. By volunteering and working at animal welfare organizations, we have had the great opportunity of working with many different dogs and becoming Certified Professional Dog Trainers-KA.

Our furry family members need us to be good leaders giving them direction and teaching them self control. The cornerstone of our program is teaching our dogs how to control their own impulses NOT by force but by teaching them how to choose the right behaviors.  Being a good leader does not need to be harsh but requires us to be confident, consistent and communicate what is acceptable behavior.   Most dogs with behavior issues are the result of accidentally rewarding bad behaviors rather than using positive reinforcement to communicate the good behaviors.
